I wanted to focus on Urban Areas in North America, so I first made an API call to get all of the North American Urban Areas, and then used the results to create a dataframe with all of those region’s “scores”.

As the cost of living goes up, undoubtedly the housing prices go up.

To figure out where I want to live, I’ll need to select some variables that aren’t as closely related to cost of living as housing price. For me, I’ll pick Commute and Outdoors. I want to maximize both of those, and see what kind of cost of living I can get. Note that the higher rated the cost of living is (the bigger the circle), the less expensive it is.

If I hover over the bigger circles in the top right, I see that Boulder, Denver, Calgary, and Vancouver would be my top choices!
